Troops Uncover Major Illegal Oil Refining Site In Delta

The Nigerian Army, in collaboration with the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps and Tantita Security, has successfully uncovered a significant illegal oil refining site at Owahwa community in Delta State.

The discovery was made during a sting operation following a surveillance report on the activities of illegal oil refiners. The site contained 35 Modular Ovens, 3 fabricated Reservoirs, 30 Dug out Reservoirs, and 75 Galvanized pipes used for the illegal refining of crude oil.

The authorities have taken action to clamp down on the illegal site. They encourage law-abiding citizens to continue supporting their efforts by reporting any suspicious oil refining or bunkering activities in their areas.
