CONTROVERSY OVER ALLEGED RESIGNATION OF APC CHAIR; ADAMU

There is controversy over the alleged resignation of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen.Abdullahi Adamu.

News report gathered from some multiple sources outside the leadership of the Party that, Sen.Adamu has resigned while others have denied the report.

Most members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have also denied knowledge of the alleged resignation of Sen.Adamu while some few have confirmed it.

News men learnt that,the alleged resignation is coming two days before the long-awaited crucial National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings of the party.

But a senior aide at the National Chairman’s office who doesn’t wants to be named said that, Sen.Adamu was asked to resign by President Bola Tinubu, saying that,Chief Iyiola Omisore,the National Secretary of the Party too tendered his resignation minutes after Adamu had forwarded his.

It would be recalled that,Sen.Adamu,a former Governor of Nasarawa State has been facing numerous battle since the Party won the Presidential elections.
