Kashim Shettima said that Peter Obi was glamourising poverty. Peter Obi was Chairman of Chairmen of numerous companies including a bank when Shettima was a mere Maiduguri Asst Branch Manager at Zenith.

In 1996 Peter Obi bought a house of 1m pounds in UK with evidence and documents, and at that time Shettima was earning peanut as a bank cashier.
