The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) building in Lagos State’s Yaba district was reportedly destroyed by fire on Wednesday morning.
The fire has caused chaos as several people are trapped inside the burning building.
The cause of the fire, which started around 6.50 a.m., had not been determined as of 7.15 a.m.
The fire, which started in the middle of the high-rise building, trapped people inside, with several of them seen desperately calling for help.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that members of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service and other emergency responders are currently on the scene, says Sahara Reporters.
